Scone Cold Dead

Maddie Day is one of those authors whose books I will always read. I read them because they are smart, funny, and enjoyable. The Country Store Mystery series is just one of those that I never want to see end. I love the characters, the setting, and, most of all, the mysteries. And there is nothing better than a pregnant Robbie waddling around to give me a chuckle. It does not come as a surprise that even getting ready to give birth, Robbie can’t help but get involved in another murder investigation. The mystery unravels, and the killer is found, but not before Robbie, as usual, finds herself in the middle of mayhem and madness. Catching the killer isn’t all that difficult, but doing it while pregnant makes things much more interesting and enjoyable. Readers who love this series will enjoy this book and the conclusion of the investigation.
